About Us
Welcome to The New Housing Initiative Project, a non-profit organization (EIN-93-3885736) based in Tucson, AZ.
Our mission is to provide unwavering support and guidance to refugee families as they navigate the challenges of relocation and seek affordable, stable housing opportunities. Refugee families face a range of immediate and long-term needs as they flee their countries where they have endured years of hardship, adversity, and war leaving them in despair. At the New Housing Initiative Project, we are dedicated to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment, empowering them to rebuild their lives, and advocate for their rights to secure, dignified housing and help ease the burden of transition. Through compassionate outreach, cultural sensitivity, and strategic partnerships, we will work tirelessly to ensure that refugee families find safe and affordable places to call home, as they embark on their journey to resettle in Tucson and achieve self-sufficiency.
